Live Maine Lobsters Make a Party Great

Friday, July 31st, 2009

When you’re daydreaming from your desk, do you ever think about taking a long, relaxing vacation to Maine. Pack up the kids and the dog and just head to the beach with a cooler and some lawn chairs. You could relax while they play, and when it’s dinner time, all you’d need to do is buy some fresh lobster from a local fisherman and build a fire. You could simmer them with some veggies and then all crack into a lobster for the delicious meat. The vacation may just be a dream, but the dinner doesn’t have to be, now that you can buy live Maine lobster online.

Never mind an Englishman in New York, try an entire family for size. Having gathered our belongings together my wife and I, along with our motley collection of kids, all headed off to the US to create a new life. With new opportunities, new experiences and many expectations, we bid farewell to Old Blighty and departed for the New Land. Of course, the dream is one thing- reality is quite something else, and it has been a learning curve.

As another holiday season gets into full swing, you’re probably already to busy to think. In fact, it’s likely you’re online right now, looking for gifts. You’ve got so many time commitments that even the smallest tasks look huge. The holiday party is happening next week, and you have no hors d’oeuvres. You need to cook something for that fancy fundraiser. Your mother and law is coming for Christmas, and you really want to pull out all the stops. Sit back, relax in your chair and minute, and breathe. You can solve all these problems when you buy lobsters online.

Is a Wheat Berry Really a Berry?

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

What the heck is a wheat berry anyway? I get that question all the time and until only a few years ago I didn’t know myself. I always called them wheat kernels or simply wheat or grain. With the recent trend toward healthy eating and consumption of more whole grains the term wheat berries is being used much more, but hopefully this article will help many realize it’s nothing new.
